i was wondering what everyone with lowered cars uses to jack there car up if it were to happen u need to on the roadside, or even at home when no ramps are availible, my 240 sits low and i cant get a normal floor jack under it unless i drive the car up on like a 4x4 or somthing. so i was just wandering.
blocks of wood, usually 2"X8" stacked and staggered to allow 2" at a time
like darian said,
i used to have to roll onto 2 2x4’s just to get the car BARELY high enough to clear the jack i have.
^^ what they said
yah! my car is just not low enough that I can use a floor jack still
depending on where I’m in the shop thou “the floor seems to change” it will fit on one side but not the other, lol.
but if u were to get a flat on the side of the road, what kinda jack would u use, like one of those X type jacks, ther really thin and might do the trick,
I carry these blocks I speak of, otherwise I have a hachet, then I find a tree, pick-nick table…whatever an McGyver it
you can also use bricks (careful small ones=danger) or patio stones 1’X2’
Don’t think he is kidding about the hatchet either.

I watched him chop down a tree once so he could jack up his car… was jks
oh yeah, I’ve also been know to use curbs, enter where there is a driveway, then drive on the concrete until it becomes a curb

i once had that problem, my old s13 steering rack has gouges out of it from scraping on the ground hahah. Used to run 195/45/16’s on 16x7 and they still rubbed in the top of my wheel wells.
i find that if you can’t get the front up with a normal floor jack, you can get the back up, and once the back is in the air, you’re golden, you can fit you jack under the front then.

i have no problem gettin a normal floor jack under the rear but the front is a diff. story, i can just get my fist between the bumper and the ground, so im gessing its like 4-5 inches
turn your cellphone on it’s side…thats a little higher than my steering rack/frame rails were from the road
