I would rather have American licensing to be more strict so people would have the comprehension to not be in that situation in the first place.
I hate to throw this out there “as a matter of fact” … but, some European countries require 100s of hours behind the wheel with an instructor, wet course driving and snow driving required. Don’t know if that is true or something I made up one night during sleep.
i’ve been looking into the SRT-4 since they first came out.
my biggest gripes would be they are so cheap so they end up with very young drivers, yet the tires are so narrow they can’t handle the power and aggressive driving put out by the car/driver.
and it was Lynn Jr. you think his dad would have been made fun of enough. way to torture.
car companies specificly design “cheap performance cars” to burn up clutches and tires before causing warranty type damage to the cars
example: 1g (and maybe 2g) Talons have a restictor valve in the clutch system that wont allow you to drop the clutch … it doesnt allow to the clutch split second engagement , instead its just a “quick engagement”
clutches were cheaper for mitsu then new cv’s and differentials all around
narrower tires to the same … lauch to hard and they go up in smoke, which is obviously a good idea because of the way kids assclown in srt-4’s
dont go making it sound like its chryslers fault he crashed … if he was out driving like that he had no right to have stock rims-n-skins on his car
maybe this will teach him to drive WITHIN the limits of his car. anyone that saw me in the drifting lebaron knows that i knew how to drive within the limits of my car while still doing a great job of keeping up with the rest of the cruise
if i can keep a 3000lb convertable on 195/75’s on the road while drifting sideways around a corner, i think some of these younger assclowns should be able to keep control or their lighter cars w/ wider tires too
once again, i dont feel bad for the driver, and if the passanger was cheering him on i dont feel sorry for him either
and oh yea … in germany it costs about 2 grand to get a license, i know this because i chat with a girl from germany who wanst to move to the states
my friend knows the driver, and nick said he was going APPROX 150mph. hes ok and doesnt even really feel bad about the passenger getting completely fucked up. i hope he gets nailed in the ass in court.
nailed in court ? i hope the passangers father puts a 12 gauge to his head and pulls the trigger …
i was watching court TV once and this pedo abducted, molested and killed some 14 your old boy, then fled the area
they caught the pedo and flew him back to town, the father was standing in the terminal “talking on the phone” … when the molester was escorted past, the father turned around and blasted a 4 inch section of of the guys head
I woulda too. but then the father goes to Prison. to that part of the deal. He should be considered a hero.
But I digress.
SRT-4’s are so affordable they are becoking peoples first cars. I started out on slow cars because that was what I could afford. And it actually taught you how to drive befre I stepped into a quick car.
Also, the license process is a joke. People seem to think that driving is a right of theirs, and it’s actually a privilage. Unfortunately it’s practically a right now given how easy it is to get a license. But they won’t change the way licenses are obtained because it would really hurt the economy.
OK, i’d just like to point out that this was posted 2.5 years ago.
I’d also like to point out that as i was reading the article, i thought it was a new post. I got to the part about the guy named lynn and thought to myself, “i am going to make a joke about that”. Then i saw that in the next post, i had already done that, 2.5 years ago.
