rollerblades: hockey: mission hi/low

These hockey skates are in very good shape. I can’t tell if the size is a 6 or a 9… I wear a size 10 1/2-11 shoe and can’t get them on. I doubt they’re size 6 as my foot hasn’t grown that much since I last wore them 3 yrs ago. The outside of the boot is longer than my foot if that makes any sense. I used these maybe half a season before focusing on Ice hockey.
details:

Mission Hi-Lo Proto SV (80/72), bronze colored metal frame
Stiffness Rated: 5.3
size 9 I believe
Kuzak wheels, not sure what the berrings are but they need some oil.

I’ll get pics tomorrow, PM me if you’re interested. I really don’t have an asking price, but I’m hoping for somewhere around 60 or more. A quick eBay search for Mission hi-lo showed a pair of similar skates; same size, rating, wheels for 70 bucks with 2 days left to bid. Make a reasonable offer and they’re yours, I’ll be back in pittsburgh on July 8th.

i think that’s a 6. usually the bottom of the numbers are in the heel. plus, if you have a 10.5 shoe, you would def be able to wear a 9 skate.

i wear a 11.5 shoes and my skates are a 9

They just don’t seem that small though. According to Mission, the shoe size should be your skate size too. So someone who wears a size 9 shoe should fit these fine. I can fit everything except an inch or so of my heal into the boot, so it seems right. I’ll email mission the picture of the inside of the boot and see if it’s a 6 or a 9.

an inch of you’re heel is alot though. i had a old pair of proto VSi’s and they were 2 sizes smaller than my shoe

Got a reply, someone from Mission (roller marketing specialist) said they’re a size 9.

I undid the laces better after the email and squeezed into them. .they do infact fit me fine. I just don’t want to keep them as I play/coach ice hockey, and don’t want to worry about roller anymore, although it’s tempting now with good skates.

not going to eBay them. I’ll still consider an offer.

still have these. :hs:

up, these are fine for a size 10-11 foot. 60 bucks.

From working at peranis I can tell you missions are the only skates that fit close to your regular shoe size.

Buy them if you like. 60 bucks

did you seriously not know you had to untie the laces to put them on, have you never put on a pair of shoes before.
