One of the e30 forums is having a groupbuy on et20 rota slipstreams in 16x8. I would love to spend $500 on a set of wheels that I like, rather than $2000.
So I am just wondering if anyone has pics of a rota slipstream with black spokes and a polished lip.

i like slipstrems…they are simple yet nice…and light…i wish they had 17s
The ones pictured are 17’s. They are either 5x114 but I think they have them in 5x100 as well. Not sure of the offsets available.

there are only 1 set i would buy…the gummetalic they have like 5 in 17s that fit…like 2 colors…MEH…but i ahve wheels so its ok
no polished lip, all color IMHO.

Well not really. Depends on the wheel. Slipstreams don’t have enough lip to polish.
yea the Gum Metallics arnt polished lip so thats hot
i never did like the slip streams cause how big the spokes are i bought motegi track-lights instead
if you have enough buyers rota will do special runs. they have done it on honda-tech a couple times.

He says hes the #1 dealer. I noticed that he has a lot of sizes that aren’t on the website. I guess he’s got some pretty good pull with Rota.
i always used to be anti motegi since it was a pep-bays cheapo rim but track-lights dont look bad at all
back on topic… i like slips nice and cheap n look good IMHO
