For those who haven’t noticed, PAC Motorsports of Australia and Sammy Promotion of Puerto Rico have been trading the world record for quickest rotary powered vehicle. It’s always fun to watch teams push the limits of an engine or chassis back and forth like this.

Back in early September Sammy had the world record of 6.87 at 200:

PAC took it back a few weeks later with a 6.75 at 201 MPH

Days later they pushed it to 6.74@205:

Then in October PAC pushed it to 6.708@206.61mph

But days later Sammy Promotion went 6.701@205mph

Again just a few days later PAC took the record back with a 6.68@205mph

Now into November on the 19th PAC reset their world record with a 6.589@208mph

They’re getting close to the times the 2JZ cars are running now.

PR won’t let AUS take it from them for long I’m sure. Dudes in rotary Samurai’s will be PISSED. :slight_smile:

these are three rotor motors right? Had an Azn student who was huge into rotaries and got most of my education in the aftermarket from him… he had a showroom stock 100point perfect 3rd gen turbo.
