s14 cloth vs leather

if youve tried both lemme know which u prefer and why

Leather is Pimp for a dialy driver, for more of a track car, I would recommend a cloth seat so that you don’t slide around all over the place.

had leather in my old car it gets too hot in summer, and on a hot day things get sticky :x , definatly like the cloth better even on a daily basis it just holds you better

i traded my s14 leathers for s13 1 peice cloth

I don’t have an S14 but I HATE the leather in my Altima.
Sure it LOOKS nice, but seats are meant to be sat on not looked at.
TOo hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, your sweat has no where to go so you’re always sweaty, and you slide around like MAD, though sportier seats than what’s in my altima would help that…

I dunno, personally I find the s14 leather seats a lot more comfortable than the cloth seats. I guess that may just be a personal preference.

I love my S14 leathers. They look pimp and I never find them too hot or too cold. Sure, you slide around in the corners, but for a daily driver I love em.

I would choose s13 cloth over s13/s14 leather.

But if I got re-upholstered and I had $$$ I’d get really high quality leather that breathes and firm up the side bolsters (David Wheeler did this to great effect!).

leather. I had both and like the leather better. However, when mentioning a cloth hugging seat are you refering to the stock 240 seats? if not, it’s a unfair comparison /opinion.

the leather seats suck for track
they suck in summer cause they are cooking hot
they suck in winter cause they are fucking cold
they are good in spring cause water just wipes off them when its raining and they are nice in fall

Leather is much better period. In summer/winter I don’t find that it gets that hot. The damn steering wheel is what was the hottest for me, that and my metal shifter.

us a sun shade. problem solved.

Problem was already solved… new steering wheel and shifter.

I like my S14 leather better personaly, I think though that I am going to get them eventualy redone but with a suead insert in the middle to hold me a bit better while I corner.
