“Baldinger’s last day will be June 28 th. This will mark 75 years of business.
I’m not sure if you know the reason’s behind the close, Mr and Mrs B. have obviously passed on. They never had children, and Mrs. B gave the store to her sister Lois, she just passed away Dec. 22. She was 101, but she never had children, so as you can see without a family interest it is hard to keep it. There are 4 nephew that inheredited it, but they live in Fla. and Cal. and never have been involved, so it has been sold to Buncher Corporation, set to take ownership June 28th, I just wanted to clarify that because, I didn’t want the public to think Baldinger’s was selling out, it’s inevitable without having kids to pass it on to.”

That’s fine, they could work around it, or at least move the business. Don’t tear it down and be done with it… that would be a real shame.

I love that place!!.. penny candy and absolutely any candy u remember as a kid they have there… it cant close!!!
