The site is continually growing, and the community is not quite as tight knit and self regulating as it used to be. Coincidentally the mod staff has been dwindling, and seemingly busy with real life.

To address these two observations Howie has brought on a few helping hands.

You may’ve noticed a series of new Ninja Mods around - these guys have been brought on to help keep things community oriented around NYSpeed, as they remember that this is a community afterall, and they are active onsite.

My apologies for not getting the news out sooner, and my apologies for some of the glitches on the boards in the last few days as we got the details worked out.

Nothing has changed with the addition of the ninja staff, only the ambition to keep NYSpeed wholly friendly, and community oriented - in other words, it’s still a place to hangout, organize, socialize, and exert our reverence towards automotive interests.

And, they cannot ban. Yet.

Basically they’re the mall security of the internet world. If they see you doing something bad they’ll grab you, blow a whistle, and wait for a real mod to show up. :wink:
