Like the title states. needs to be for the tbi. its going on my 88 bird with the 305.
TBI heads are horrible. TBI is horrible. Ditch it all together and start over. Buying an aftermarket intake will not help much at all. Just my .02
Nah my dad is having alot of luck running tbi so thats the road im staying. but will be throwing in a 350 when i blow the 305, so if i throw the intake on now i will have it when the 350 goes in.

If you’re going to bother doing an intake, I would swap heads while you’re in there. Anything is better than the shitty swirlports. Used L30/31 heads are a dime a dozen nowadays and well worth it, iirc just swapping the stock tbi heads to vortecs is like a 30+hp gain. The vortec to tbi conversion intakes are a good chunk of cash, but keep an eye on ebay/craigslist/boards/etc and they can be found used for a fraction of what you’d pay new. There is also allegedly an oem '96 model vehicle that came with the vortec heads and tbi, I think it was supposedly the heavy duty g-vans(?).
or you can get the vortec lower manifold and swap to tpi :pimp:
