Congratulations to all of the NECC members who took part in SCC, as well, big thank you goes out to all who showed some club support down there (Even though I couldnt be there ).
All the NECC members who raced, made it into the quick 24:
>Inzane - Jason Kelly, 1993 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo - 13.176 @ 104.76 (Unfortunately blew a diff or something like that)
>DconZ - Dan Erelis, 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo - 13.391 @ 106.04 (Had some clutch slippage)
>DoubleDown - Mike O’Connor, 1991 Nissan 240SX - 13.608 @ 99.98 (Fastest S13 on here)
Unfortunately no, until Ryan showed up (he had the teal/blue S14, right?) we didn’t think we had ANY Nissans there participating in the show part. And you need a minimum of two show’ers. So we gave up on trying to form a team. I think we all raced solo.
Its too bad because I discovered later in the day that Tim & Shawn from the EZCC had shown up with their Z32 and Z31 respectively and had them sitting on the grass in the middle of the show area. I had no idea they were there and they didn’t come find me/us, otherwise had we known we could’ve recruited one or both of them for show part. Oh well.
All on stock turbos. It’s great not owning a Honda. Now I just have to go get my 13 sec slip. Thanks Aaron, I don’t know how I missed it. That’s good to see for a ST165.
