I am looking to scoop up an authentic pair of these. Should I just go to Lenscrafters and buy them? They are $125, but I have seen some as low as $89 on Ebay. I wouldn’t trust ebay for being authentic though…Where else are these sold?
I got mine from Lenscrafters, although I have prescription ones. They were slightly more than $125 lol

I might just go pick these up on my lunch break today

I wouldn’t trust that seller either,1600+ feedback, all 100% positive from selling RayBan authentic sunglasses…must be a scammer. Not to mention feedback saying the glasses are authentic.
Are you looking to get them with prescription lenses? Authentic prescription Ray-ban lenses from Lenscrafters (not including the price of the frames) are $400. Generic lenses in authentic frames are like $250. Lenscrafters is currently having a deal where you trade in an old pair of glasses and get $150 off the price of the lenses.
Also, they sell “original Wayfarer’s” and “new Wayfarer’s”, so keep that in mind if you decide to buy them online.
If the seller is legit, save yourself the taxes and get them on ebay for a discount.
Yep, I’d kill for a $100 pair of sunglasses. With prescription name brand (Oakley, Ray Ban, etc.) you’re looking at spending $300 and up. It sucks.
Exactly. There are so many other things I’d rather spend $500 on.
Urban Threads is typically 5-10% less expensive than Sunglass Hut or anywhere else. They are an official authorized dealer with literally hundreds (I would guess at least 500) pair of sunglasses available at any given time.
They carry Ray Ban, Smith, Oakley, Proof, Arnette, D&G, Versace, Prada, Persol, and many many more. as well as a rack of $20-30 sunglasses as well
736 Elmwood Ave. Buffalo, NY 14222, across from Blue Monk. 884-9145
tell them Andre referred you (I worked there years ago)
about 1/4 of their sunglass display
And for you prescription folk, it’s usually cheaper to buy sunglasses from them and take them to an optician for lenses
for $30 i’d just buy local…
i bought a pair of ray ban sunglasses online for $125 but they were about $200+ in the store so that made more sense… trouble is that my wife bought them in the store for me for our anniversary without telling me… so now i have two sets of the same sunglasses
Sorry guys, I went to lenscrafters today and got the pair of Ray Bans for $125. I would have rather just bought local. I got the case and everything, fully authentic and I didn’t have to wait for them. No prescription BTW.

I didn’t get the original ones. The new ones were much less and I liked them better.
here is a tip. If you have eye insurance, look at your plan. If it says anything along the line of buying frames or part off. use that to buy the new glasses as long as you do not need it to buy real glasses I get a new pair of Oakleies every year thanks to my eye care.
Here’s a tip, go to zenni optical .com and get 5-6 pairs of glasses from china for $125 or less!
It does suck. I’m such a cheap bastard that I went 10 years without sunglasses because I needed prescription. I even bought cheapos so I wouldn’t get blinded sitting on the beach all day, despite the fact my vision sucked with them. It was torture in my convertible, so I finally broke down and bought a pair of Wayfarers at Beckes Optical in Hamburg for around $350 total I think. Well worth it…unless I break them.
Why not get some contact lenses for the times when you want to rock sunglasses?
I couldn’t imagine life without contacts.
My eyesight is so bad I can’t see in regular sunglasses, even If I’m chilling at the beach I can’t make out anything. For a while I’d get the cheap ones and wear them over my normal glasses. Sucked hard but it was all I had.
I tried contacts last time I went to lenscrafters, had too much trouble with them and just went with glasses. Holding out for a job that will allow coverage on Lasik.
