seat question?

well my seats in my teg are hacked to shit, and i picked up a mint pair from an older 89-91 teg that were in a eg hatch. The seats are almost the same , bottom line is i dont know shit about seats. The guy who i got them from said they dont have the sliders on them because he had them in his civic ,which is the obvious part. My question is , has anyone ever swapped seats in from a older teg to a 95 like mine on here and if i dont have the sliders and shit from the teg they were originally from can i use my stock 2nd gen sliders?
sorry there is prob an obvious answer to this but i dont know it.

thanks,
mike

if the rails on the seats are from an eg then they will bolt right in.

if not, im pretty sure u can swap ur existing slider on the new seats, but i would check on that

yea the guy kept the rails or sliders or what ever there called lol, ive heard that the rails from my currents seats will work but not 100% sure

i have seats from an integra same style as urs in my civic. bolted right in. u’ll be fine

alright sounds good, thanks

anyone else?

EG hatch and 94 and up integras have the same rails.

93 and back need a little modding

hmm all i kno is that the kid said they have no sliders on and that i could prob use the ones from my current seats are sliders and rails the same thing?

yeah, you will have to mount your sliders on the seats then

i dont know if its a direct bolt-on or not. you may have to get creative

yea i guess the seats did have sliders on them after all , put them in but they dont line up on all 4 holes, so i could only bolt them in diagnally, the other two holes were off by like half an inch to each side. Whatever tho its good enough they dont move @ alll and feel like all 4 are in.The sliders on my stock seats like dont match up and shit and they only come off on those. The new seats i got , the sliders like dont come off ,there like these flat things holding them on but there not screw driver hole or socet wrench shape to take them off , they dont look like they would line up.
