So I bought larger tires for my wife’s XTERRA because she needs them for off roading. lol
The melt mod seems pretty straight forward but I just thought I would see if anyone on here has done it and can offer any hands on tips.
I did find a website that explains it but either my reading comprehension sucks or it is not expained very “well” (pun intended). When I start something new I am obsessed with details because I don’t want any surprises.

^That helps. When I viewed that thread before I could only see the original post which left me with questions. So… calling it a melt mod is a little deceiving because metal actually has to be removed.

Yes, on second gen. Heat it and stretch it back about 1/8" but that thread talks about trimming metal as well which makes me a bit nervous but I already received the tires from tirerack so…
Put them on and let them clearance them selves
I will do a few heaters with the posi lock on and put the rears on the front.
