see4ways goes 10s

im not chosing sides or anything here, but given a vehicle with the same weight and drivetrain ignoring any possible traction issues, how does a smaller displacement work better then a larger displacement? whether its na, boost, or injected, the more displacement the more horsepower and torque. the more power you have, the faster you will be. whether its old school or new school, the same holds true. and most of the time, you can go faster for cheaper using the bigger engine because its internals will be stronger due to the larger size. it typically costs more to build a smaller engine to handle the power that the larger engine is already at for what the larger engine would cost to purchase.

this.

he just joined the bandwagon late. look if your gonna bandwagon hate, be good at it.

How can you ignore all of that other stuff though? Motors make power, but there is so much more to the package as a whole.

A camaro is nothing like a civic. Nobody puts a 4-cyl in a camaro, nobody puts a v8 in a civic.

You can’t just say “oh ignore everything but the motor”

People race cars, not motors. Doesn’t matter what is under the hood or how much was spent. The only thing that matters is who crosses the finish line first.

This thread sucks so fucking bad. For the love of god someone just lock it.

I’m pretty sure both of those have been done.

have you ever seen one in person? I know I’ve seen an LS1 powered civic on the internet, but the chances of ever running into on on the street or at a track is basically slim to none.
