i think that’s one of the welty brothers, florida based and from jwelty.com to vwfixx.com. the car behind him was one of the first VR6 swapped MKII’s on the scene and set the bar WAY before anyone knew wtf watercooled performance was if it’s the same mint green beast.

i’m young and i still know those fools. Jwelty.com FTW back then. i think that car was even earlier than that 97/98… i was on welty first in late 99 early 00ish when i bought my '87 16v GTI. car got sawzalled, and it’s a shame b/c it was 100x better than any NE shell. removed the brake hoses with an open end wrench, bottom of the car was shinny even. just no room so it got hacked up and thrown in the dumpster.
