Mahars on Madison Ave in Albany. Pretty hard to beat that place.
Mahar’s has so many different beers available its hard to beat it
Not sure the selection or number but Lazy Boy has about 5 different TVs (some small/some big LCDs) with all sports, over 500 different bottles/50 draft, and the best wings in Westchester (I prefer Candlelight In down the road). I typically stick with draft though.
yeah… no food or TVs at Mahar’s… just beer :lol
How are the prices?
seem to be alright. hard to tell since you can’t find a lot of the beer they serve anywhere else or even in the best beverage center. Don’t really have much to compare it to.
They have 6 cask beer taps as well. I don’t know of another place that has that.
Mahar’s makes sandwhich’s. As far as the amount of beer…they have well over 120 bottled beers and they have to have at least 30 different beers on tap
really? I never seen a food menu.
120?! WAY more than that? Their beer menu was 4 and a half pages long when I was there on saturday. Basic 10pt font and two columns per page. I’d say at over 100 beers per page
See every time I go there the menu seems to change. We went one week and the menu was 8 pages and then 2 weeks later it was only 4. I wasn’t sure if its a season thing or what. Yea and look at the end of the bar they have sandwich’s in the glass case
oh yeah, it changes all the damn time. They keep the menu up to date which is VERY impressive since they carry sooo much beer. I hate going to places where they hand you a menu and then tell you whats been kicked. Two weeks ago the menu was just under 4 pages and this past Saturday it was almost 5.
