If the motor cant take it, then that’s the motor’s problem.
Can’t kill that block in there now, I needz it.
But Mooooommmmmmmmmm!!
I want to see big smokey burnout videos before you yank that motor!
+2bajillion
haha wut
i thought i heard he has a stupid hi set rev limiter which is why the motor keeps poping
10k rpm or higher or gtfo
Nope. Rev limiter is actually lower than average to prolong engine life. Ironic, eh?
I’ll try and remember to take video this time.
smart. soft touch is the safest way to go.
No idea what soft touch is but I’m betting the rules dont allow me to use it.
Regardless, the new motor will be seeing rev limiter for a split second on a regular basis at certain tracks.
Perfect gearing is a beautiful thing…
If Clark has a set of tires to toast up I’ll film some fun up at the shop before pulling the engine out to please the fans.
soft touch= soft touch rev limiter. not like a hard nasty rev… any good standalone setup, (everyone i’ve seen) has the option for one. you can buy self-contained units from msd, etc. basically it cuts the spark 1 cyl at a time so it isn’t a harsh rev. :thumb
sweet you better lol :excited
I have perfect gearing for 90% of the tracks I’m at most often. The other 10% are SOL considering each diff is $2000. Plus, the jury is out on how much time I’d actually gain by accelerating for another .00005 seconds to one braking zone instead of have the shorter gears on the rest of the course. Beats me. For $2000, I’m happy wondering. ;D
I have at least 2 sets of tires to toast.
Sounds kinda like a 2 step :confused
no :lol
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :banana
