Shift518 W.o.T.

sure, as long as you buy me a LS1 long block and put it in my car for me??

Drag race much? Typically, traps go down with 60’. But, it depends on the launch.

dunno what to say…My 60’ went down, my 1/4 time went down…my trap went up.

worked the same for me but we are exceptions to the rule… by your tires spinning its effectively lengthening the track giving you more room to get your rear tires rolling faster thus higher traps… a shorter 60’ time SHOULD result in lower traps.

A lot of other variables to consider. My best ETs have the lowest traps.

it was also 10 degrees cooler out, my previous times at the track with 14.6-14.8 runs i was trapping 105-106 but with a 14.04 i went 103-104.
edit
same with nicks S4 on his 11.85 run he trapped 118. but with a bad 60ft(burned all 4) he went 11.9@121.5

LS1 does defy physics… :ponder

if anyone wants to update mine, my run wed. brought me a 11.60 @ 122.
I was happy. only .07 quicker but 3MPH faster.

best running subaru ive ever seen there.

funny how my car ran .9 seconds faster but trapped 108 :ponder

oh come on, you know its because of the consistant automatic and you pretty stock setup.

deffinatlly impressed! you have the fp-green and running like 30 psi and meth? somebody told me this but i am unsure.

yeah that’s true.

and let’s not forget I have to shift 4 times during that run!

gotta love STI gearboxes :headbang if i push my limiter to 8000rpm i can surpase 120mph in 3rd… just getting in 3rd is my problem

nice, yea, really short gears. probably fastest subaru that attends LVD. LOL!

last time I checked, they didnt make torque converts for M6’s :crackup

plus your on drag radials fucker.

that doesnt mean anything, its all in the trap speed, but what im sayin is i want faster than you, with a lower et, so when your et drops, what do you think will happen to your trap speed?

not sure. From my own personal experience with my SS and my turbo V6…every time I ran and my Time went down, my trap went up.

thats kind of defying the laws of physics. the only way thats possible is if you are adding enough power to overcome the loss of traction and allowing the car to pick up that much of the ground when it does hook up.

look at the top fuel cars, if they spin the tires they will trap like 10mph higher but a few tenths slower than the guy next to them. same idea… but obviously lightyears apart

update please… ;D

12.7 @114!!!
