I’ve got two months without a license… I could get about $1500 for the Prizm, another $300 or so for the Swift, so I wouldn’t need to scrape much more together to pick up an early 1.6 Miata. Thoughts?
well, its definately not the most masculine car out there, but RWD + lightweight = acceptable ( :hsugh: )

if you supercharge it, yes, if not then it just looks like a gay car, but yet i guess its better then the prism
my two pairs of shoes (other than dress shoes) are Skechers boots and the Lugz sneakers below… so I’d have to buy new shoes too, heh…

i’ll probably let the Swift rot in my garage until my mom finally kills the motor in her Metro… then the Swift motor, gearbox, and rear disc brakes will go in her Metro.
the Miata would be a replacement for the Prizm. Something with similar fuel economy, but more fun to drive. Plus, I miss having a convertible (last year I had a Mercury Capri XR2).

Get something nice for christs sake. Ive been driving stripped out, noisy, lowered racers since I got my license. This Max I got is SOOO fucking nice. Im so glad I got this instead of another 1G or 2G DSM like I was gonna. Its just so smooth and comfy. Get something nice, then get the racer as a project.

Maxima = teh win. SE with a 5 speed. Put an intake, y-pipe and exhaust and you’ve got a 220hp, 3100 lb uber pimp sport sedan. They can run 15.2 stock, and mid 14’s with above mods. Slap a Stillen supercharger, and pick up an M5EATR vanity plate. :bigthumb: And the VQ30 engine has been on the top 10 Motor list every single year since its inception.

all joking aside maxima’s are nice my buddy up here that i work with has the exact same as ur but its the gay champagne (sp?) color. he just got some wheels for it and it has intake and exhaust. looks pretty nice.
yeah, I couldnt buy one in that color. found a nicer one than this one actually, and passed on it because of that color. I found a 99, SE, auto, loaded to the fucking brim. It was white too. I love white maximas. It had 70k, and the prick wouldnt budge off 14,900. The car blue books at like 11,000. I would have given him 10K in a heartbeat, but ill bet he got ripped off for it at the auction cause he didnt know what he was buying. Maximas have horrible resale value for some reason. If i would have traveled to the Balt/DC area, I could have picked up the same car with 80K for the same price, but it was there, so I went for it.
