There’s nothing wrong w/ a Miata… for a track car. Miata Spec racing is about the cheapest way to get into competative road racing. And the same car would be a great AutoXer too. But last time we had the Swift discusion you said you weren’t even into AutoX/RoadRace that much.
Given your options, and taste in cars, I’d keep the Gism as a daily. Stop even thinking of modding it. Fix whatever’s wrong… that’s it. Then get a Miata, gut that fawker bare. Cage and full suspension. Build it to fully comply w/ Spec Miata rules then go racing.

its not even about miata vs g-body so U need to STFU. You know the good thing about a g-body is that you can put just about any engine in them and they are cheap to build so again STFU
They also race riding lawn mowers, so whats your point

you can put any motor in any car you want if you have the tools and the time.
you missed the point, you can drop in an engine really easy. try puttin a big block chevy in a civic. no use comaparing a small sports car to a full size coupe that was made starting in the early 80’s. I’m sure they sold way more more g-bodies than miata thou.
