When i was in high school I would always drive my mom’s benz when i was going out with a bunch of friends (cant fit many people in a 300zx), and haters would always hate on me for it. I just lol’d at them.
People thought my A4 was my parents when I was 18.
Now I think they just assume I am a drug dealer.
believe me it really didn’t ruin my night, i am just trying to continue my trolling of him onto a public medium to further the embarrassment. 
i actually don’t get much of that anymore, compared to the A4 ^
now people are almost always just asking me questions about it, if they say anything at all. most people don’t know what an M5 is, and that’s part of the appeal to me. i don’t need people knowing it’s anything more then a 5 series lol.
