Odds are i won’t be going back to S&R this year, besides i spin less launching off a stop light and don’t want to kiss the wall and pay $5 per run for the privilege. I would still like to run if you think you car is a good match for mine, all BS aside  .
Well back before lancaster was a complete shit hole and prepped their track once in a while, i was able to click off some mid 7’s @ ~94 mph. With the exception of last week (1st run spinning 1st and 2nd and coming withing a couple ft of hitting the wall, and then the second run with 600lbs of extra man meat in the car and 3 beeping) I haven’t been on a drag strip in 2 years. Anyones guess what the car can do now on the new setup with a couple 100lbs less weight.
no problem i wish the video had come out better your car sounds awesome once you get going… we will have to do it again when i bring the E55 out should be a better race
If you make 400 wheel and your only running high 8’s and low 9’s you either don’t make that much HP, you need to learn to drive, or you need to go on a NON S&R night where there is some semblance of track prep.
I really wasn’t trying to be a dick. I am going on the assumption that you have only attempted to track the car at Shredd and Ragan which is absolutely no gauge as to what the car has in it. But as im sure you realize, running a high 8 or 9 with a car that has 400 wheel HP is laughable. However, if these are S&R times, its completely understandable. Come out to NYI (Empire) or go for a romp on the :snky: track!
I appreciate your not being a dick. I was just answering the question honestly. Running street tires on a S & R night produces those times. Schedule (life) permitting I do want to get out to the 1/4 mile track.
The tires and track on wed night is your problem for sure… I couldn’t get anything lower than a 9.6 on wed with all season tires and shity track prep but with the mods i had at the time average time should be 8.7. This year i have really good street tires/DR and over twice the power so it should be interesting.
