I went there for the first time with my 280z weds. night it was the green one with fender flares.
Best time of 10.28, which isn’t that bad for a 125hp slowmobile, i didn’t have anyone watching the lights for my speed did anyone happen to record anything?
Also it was the one that smelled of gasoline in the interior… had an accident when i kicked the ass end out on the way there. interior gastank vac line plug came off… GAS EVERYWHERE inside
That old man driving that or lack there of driving it sucked. Stock s2000s should run close to that. My stock b16 CRX with an open diff spinning through first ran 7 tenths slower. I was not impressed with that car at all. However it did sound good.
they openly said on thier fb page that they dont prep the track at all for it. so you are racing on a track thats glassed over from tuesday nights.
He was running into the 8s i believe but he couldnt get traction until he hit half way through second.

No way that car should have been that slow IMO.
Normal people would take a car who’s interior they just washed down with gasoline and park it with the windows open in an open space until the explosive fumes went away.
Thunderdome people go race 1/8th mile. Their pure awesomeness purges the fumes from the car. :lol:
That car should have been low 8’s no problem
it was, i left the hatch / doors open and even took out the entire rear carpet area and threw it up on the foam blocks to air out.
