Shredd & Ragan no longer @ Lancaster

I can’t wait to show up on the jet ski

Maybe ill stop by to check it out. I just don’t want all old pos ricer cars that kids think are awesome to be there , the pictures look nice from S&R site.

There will be ricers everywhere you go Tim sorry to say… If you read they don’t take pics of those cars that aren’t worth their time

Some of us are heading up to Texas Roadhouse on Young St in Tonawanda around 5pm for dinner then heading to Gratwick around 6:30pm

Packed last night

I was down the street at K & S Autos car show, nothing big yet, but they always have some nice cars!

Honestly, having worked the last two years as a vendor. This location is awesome for strictly a car show. Not a lot of trash but still your expected number of ricers, mullets and shitty tattoos. Otherwise, a lot of quality cars and much more family friendly than Lancaster.

How many cars were there? In a 5 minute ride, there are 3 cruises. S&R at Gratwick, Texas Roadhouse, and KS

My girlfriend and I went on Wednesday. To be honest it is a great location, easy to get in and out of, and there is AMPLE parking if you don’t want to park in the show. I was blown away by the number of nostalgic muscle cars for a “non-muscle car” feature. I do plan on going back this summer.

Cliffs for “Trash”:

  • On the way to the event three Bikes were pulled over by a state trooper about 1 mile south of the cruise…tisk-tisk-tisk.
  • As we are walking to the show some underage teens were walking in the opposite direction and this one girl was shouting “Will you at least talk to me OH MY GAWD!!!”
  • Before we got to the first road of cars a “young kid” in a nice looking Gold/Brown Cutlass(?) did 2 rolling peels down the side road while people with kids decided it was a good place to walk. One guy, with a beer in his hand said “Hell yeah” as the Car tore by then went “Oh Shit!!!” seconds later when the car had to jam on the breaks because people ran across the road in a panic.
  • Later on, another guy was yelling at his kid for looking at a car too long, or something retarded. The kid totally gave him the “You’re not my real Dad” stare (Credit to Kristen for that label, LOL).
  • My ranger, covered in bird shit, would look nicer than some cars that parked in the show area. I think it is nice that they don’t discriminate; a car is a car.
  • Some douche bags; Jeep Cheerokee and crew cab Dakota(?) thought the event was for a sound off. I can appreciate Car Audio like any other Audiophile. But pulling 150db for 10 minutes straight to show how your back glass almost twists to the point of breaking is a little unnecessary…and annoying.

I will admit that I am somewhat biased at events like this. Mainly because I like talking with the Old School guys about where they got there cars, how long they had them, would they ever sell it, etc… But, I think on a beautiful night it is a great way to get outside and still see some great Cars, Boats, and Trucks. If I get my car back together this Summer I will certainly take it.

I think everyone should own a Red Ryder BB Gun. It makes a great Christmas present. I don’t think a Football makes a very good Christmas present.

I noticed this as well as a Lancer with younger crowd dancing around it. They all rattled like crazy, couldn’t even hear any actual music. I was fairly dissapointed with amount of cars to look at, to be honest. I was at Quaker Steak last night and it was a bit better, but maybe because of the new location there are less people bringing their cars.

Didn’t know the Quaker steak was going on yet, sweet. That one actually has a pretty decent crowd / cars. The website said 5/31 for the opening day. I’m gonna try to make it next week.

x…

I didn’t know either, I stopped in at BMW to get a downpipe from one of the guys I used to work with and someone mentioned it so I stopped by. I like the crowd and turnout out there too. I’ll be there again next week, I’ll look for you!

i like it because everything is close. there is good food…and of course beer!

So what nights are Texas roadhouse ??

Wednesdays as well. Much nicer crowd too. I believe (don’t quote me) that they offer discount coupons. I vaguely remember something like that from last year.

I stopped by Shred/Ragan after I left Dunn Tire Raceway and it was dead. I rolled in around 8ish. Hardly anyone there. When I left Dunn Tire at 7:35ish the line to get in was out to the street.

yeah i stopped up to this tonight and it was quite a small turnout so i left after maybe 25 min…

So thunder dome lost the dome and now it’s thunder?

It was raining on and off

This. Once the rain started the first time about 35% of the people left. It sprinkled on and off but it was packed before the rain.

Every car that came up to the line last night these kids would yell “yolo” and ask if it had vtec.

It was funny my buddy turned his tuner up to max and sucked his fuel filter dry in the big duramax.
