signaling sound over 100k?

ok well there was one thing that i found weird since ive picked up the silvia and that when i got over 100kmh the signalling bell sound turns on. u know when u signal left or right it does that binging noise. i thought it might be rpm related but it wasnt. anyone ever expereince this or know what it might be?

also i was at 5000rpms goign 140kmh in 5th gear is it normal to have such short gearing on the silvia k`s?

Ca transmissions do have alot shorter gearing than SR or KA’s.

All the JDM cars have the speed chime that goes off around 105 km/h. There’s a thread here somewhere about removing it if it’s really annoying.

take the dash out and there will be a little box behind it. either disconnect the wires or remove it completly.

Thats weird for it to rev so high. My 180 revs about 5200 in 5th at 170km/h

well then i geuss that answered alot of questions. its not annoying i was just worryed it might of been wires crossing somewhere but it isnt. thank for the info.

you are retarted!

:finga:

was it wrong to think it might have something to do with the wiring?

ummm since when does a short make a nice chime sound,(maybe u should have paid attention to intial D) and signal lights click not ding!

u should let me borrow your collection of intial d maybe then i will know just as much as u do.

Funny!!!

LOL i hate that gay chime, you get a massive headache in about 5 minutes

it takes 10 min to remove…u must pull the cluster and unplug the clip…u cant miss it…it a big square tin lookin thing, which has wires from the speed unit goin to it…
for all u SUPER WANGAN RACERS…lol
