Silicone Couplers and T-bolt clamps

I have decided to, or at least try to, from here on in accompany all the of the FMIC kits with T-bolt clamps instead of the cheaper gear clamps that have come with them up until recently.

also on the S13 / S14 FMIC kits i am going to try and provide that extra silicone coupler that you never get with them. the 2" one that goes on the turbo, you have to have a decent silicone coupler on there otherwise its going to melt.

as a result i am probably going to keep a shit-ton of couplers and t-bolt clamps in stock at any given time. heck i already have hundreds of dollars in new and used, rubber and silicone couplers hanging around anyways

before i place the order i would like to know what size couplers people are using.

i was just going to order a few 2", a few 2.5" and a wack of 3" because i think 3" is most common but correct me if i am wrong.

here are some pics of the clamps and couplers.

closer look at clamps VVV

your going to be looking at $8 - $13 for straight couplers depending on size. that is a 2" - 2.25" reducer coupler that is a fair bit more expensive and a 2.25" elbow that is also a bit more expensive.

the straight ones are just over 3" long and are 1/6" thick 3ply silicone coupler. they should handle most applications.

the T-bolt clamps are not the hugest most crazy baller couplers you can get, heck couplers can get over $100 a piece for the serious stuff

these ones will be around $5 a piece or there abouts…

if anyone wants some please let me know, otherwise i am just ordering for stock.

iono about your guys but i ended up spending upwards of $50 on a single coupler this year… only to have to cut half of it away… super ghey

Bing, I’m going to need atleast 1 of the 90degree 3" bends, if you can get come reducers i’d suggest having a few on hand aswell, 2.5-3" is common.

yeah i will bring up a few reducers and reducing elbows and reguarl elbows… but them shits be soo expensive… god i hate having to actually buy this stuff when you actually need it.

Bing, if I buy a whole bunch of these off you, and start selling them to people, and then get someone to buy a whole bunch off me, do I then get comission on some of his sales?

yes?

Are the tbolt clamps stainless or gold coloured?
They look like they’re the heavy duty ones and not the crappy tbolt clamps that everyone else sells.

some 2.75"-3" reducers may also be a good idea for connecting IC piping to the stock SR throttle body.

That delayed my SR swap for 1 week since I found it hard to find anyone local with it in stock and I had to E-Bay it

robbby, these arent super baller, they are just your basic T-bolt clamps… if people wanna spen $12 on a serious T-bolt clamp i can get them but i think these will do for most applications on here.
