Hey i was just wondering is the USDM frame the same as the JDM and would the silvia front end swap be a direct bolt on after changing the fenders roof and bumper? in other words would i be able to swap myself?
You need the following:
- Fenders
- Hood
- Bumper
- Lights
- Grill
- brackets
All this is direct bolt on. However you will need to do some wiring for the lights.
Yes, it should be a direct swap, and you should be able to do it in an afternoon, 4 hours +/-
yeah and its only about $3000 so have fun!!
Not $3000 for a S13 - maybe a used S15
You can piece together used Silvia parts for $1500.
Or go aftermarket CF Hood, Bumper, Fenders for $2500 (usually less)
Wrong the lights jsut plug right into the Existing H4 Connector.
And the Fog’s Plug Right into the DRL’s Connector.
Piecing together isn’t that hard nor expensive.
Be ready to shell out ~$1000 for body work, allignemnt and paint.
Gotta do some rewiring if you are an '89 or '90 (No DRL’s)
$1000 CAD at the most for body pieces.
