I got it for under a G shipped with a 2yr Warranty with Accident Protection and a Neoprene case.
I’m just having some buyers remorse, not sure if it was the best one to go with, but I’d say it’s pretty loaded with features/performance. Although I haven’t found many reviews for the Y550 in particular, IBM/Lenovo has a pretty good history of making some quality notebooks, aside from some customer service issues. Honestly what computer company these days doesn’t have customer service issues, though?
What should I do once it gets here? Obviously ditch all the bullSHIT software it will no doubt come jam packed with, but I’ve heard of some things you can do with Vista to make it less of a resource hog, and less annoying. Basically more XP, less omg look at me I’m pretty and ask you to do everything nine times before I do it.

idk lfs is going to be more graphically demanding very soon with the new update/patch
as it sits, i guess it would run it yea , idk about that graphics card tho, never personally tested or benchmarked it, let alone heard anything about it because i only read up on mid to high end desktop graphics
anyways, yea w/e i think u coulda got a better deal elsewhere, however its no biggie man the laptop looks fine

Deal, any chance you could take a look at my Latitude? Free tomorrow? I have a sneaking suspicion the HD shit the bed, but it’s locked up and given the same Stop Error codes before and I resolved it with the recovery console. I lost my XP Pro disc though
