i been wondering for a few minutes now…

how many of you have the virus that disables your task manager and a few other things ?

press crtl alt delete /crtl shift esc

and let me know if the task manager opens like normal or if you get a pop up dialog box saying it has been disabled

the reason im asking is because every pc i came across in india has this same virus and now our laptops have it, well i fixed it on this laptop but we got two others with the problem. and im wondering if this is a very widespread virus RIGHT now or what…

i guess its a virus that has something to do with removable storage i dont know the net is too slow to really research it but uh its a funny virus tho cuz its everywhere here…

I found a few useless vendor plugs for their software, but here’s the most useful one I could find (still a shameless plug):

Gives you the registry entries to fix and then you can kill the process via task manager, and go from there with cleanup…

Singh thats a pretty commmon Virus, I’ve gotten it once and have had quite a few computers of friends/ at work get it as well.

Pretty much fucks with your administrator abilities so you cant do much. Nor can you kill the processes that are associated with the viri. Generaly those fake anti virus are associated with it

ya i know how to fix it, i just figured it was a common virus and it spread fast seeing as i had no idea how it got on all these laptops at once,he only thing shared was sdcards and shit but whatever its all good… i also heard its assoc with fakeanti virus software
