I was browsing around and ran into this toyota concept hybrid. It claims to have have 400 hp. Like this will ever go into production… but i still like it.:present: Pics for viewing pleasure. Anyone here anything about this?

i dont really know if i like it or not. that window line is horrible. and the front and rear suck. eh i dont like it.

seen that a long time ago. I just wonder how much the batteries make this car weigh. I love the styling of the side. just looks like a baddass new celica. but the C pillars have to make blindspots like woah. I would rock it… and cover it with all sorts of greenpeace CO2 footprint bumperstickers so prius drivers would feel jealous.

How long is the question. We did a lot of design work on the transmission for the Tesla roadster. Sure it does 0-60 in 4 seconds but the big question is how many times? These “performance electrics” simply cannot make that kind of power for very long on today’s batteries.

We had a Tesla unit running on the dyno at work. It peaks at about 190kW at around 9000. The full power upshift is at 13500. We had it running shift cycles on a spin stand. Loud as hell at 13500 rpm. Sounded like a giant shop vac.
