only other thing i think of near that is a c6 z06 for ~ 70k even then u still gotta deal with the interior rattles and roofs blowing off

this car is competing with the 911 turbo and is outperforming other cars that are in the 55-65k range. how is not worth the price?

Because it’s a $65k Nissan, based on the 350z, with sub par styling (subjective).

Performance, it’s impressive, but if I’m spending $65+ on a car, I’m considering anything in the $65-90 segment. Which means I’m probably buying a z06 or a used GT3.

word to the ginger, makes more sense, but it sill still sell because it will say GT-R

ITS NOT A SKYLINE GTR…its just a GTR…base Model Skylines are still G35s

if u ask me, ide take the nissan over the z06. personnally i like the styling better. plus ide be willing to bet that interior on that nissan is a little nicer the the z06. of course i do realize that the z06 performance would be better. but as u said, thats subjective and pure opinion, so i wont agrue that with u

also, there is a 25 thousand dollar difference between 65k and 90k. also, reading the article you find that the price states(for the lowest trim level) that it is £29,000 which is about $57,000 US.

90,000 minus 57,000 is a 33,000 dollar difference. So saying that u would consider this to be in the same price bracket as a $90k car is retarded

EDIT: also, “For example, a base Nissan 350Z costs £26,495 in Britain, while the same car goes for $27,900 in the US.” that means that converting the currencies from british costs is unreliable. the 350z sells cheaper in the states then it does in britain. so the price of the gtr could be MUCH lower then the prices listed above and in the article.

thats debatable because the people who blow their loads over the skyline gtr are in the younger age and probably cant afford this car.

It looks like the base model will be aboot $57,000.
As far as new cars go, this has got to be the best deal going.
I would spend the money on this long before I would spend it on a chevy.
A car made by the United Auto Whiners would have to be pretty magical for me to buy it.
My 2 cents.

this car is not even comparable to a skyline GT-R a single bit.

the only thing that is similar to the skyline is the GT-R badging. Kids are just adding the skyline in front of it because it sounds familiar. I really think that this car will sell amazingly because of its performance and price. I know tons of older folks who would love a car like this. Not every adult in the US is an Vette cock rider.

90,000 minus 57,000 is a 40,000 dollar difference. i could almost get 2 gtr’s for 90k. So saying that u would consider this to be in the same price bracket as a $90k car is retarded

you never did well in grade school math, did you?

apparently i do suck at math, my bad…its a 33k difference…i dont know what i was thinking.

Still pretty significant

Can we merge all this GT-R shit into one thread instead of 356373 ones on the same car?
