Dude he is looking for SNOW TIRES. I don’t know what you have done to your car that you loose traction with 275’s. It must be the mighty 290 whp or the 235 wtq.
I would run a 205/50/17 on the DSii’s for winter.
Taller skinny tires for winter = rule.
It is cute that you drive a M3 and have a mac, are you a vegetarian as well?
UGH Its white too LOL <333333
LoL
He should only use it in the car or around it.
Traction control snicker
HaHa thats funny, I’d expect the flaming around here, but last week I told my mother my plans of purchasing a white M3, she immediately pointed out that Me + White BMW + my macbook = uber gay…thanks mom LOL. HaHa I <3 white M3’s though.
My 275’s loose traction too on the car…
That is WAY to narrow for an E46, BMW recommends for snow what I posted, I would personally run a 225/255 or a 245 square set up setup. Hell the tire size you posted in 1" shorter than a stock 255/35 or 225/40… its nice that you would run it on an E36, but the E36 is a lot less muscle, and a lot lighter of a car to cut through the snow with.
ps… is it sad I have a white iPhone too?
EDIT: for stock E46 M3 17" wheel, BMW recommends 225/50R17
Same here … breaks loose at 4K
and clutch kick at full lock :mamoru:
You M3 owners are all pussies 265’s all around is entirely way to much fun.
WTB - 195/45/18s
Put them on a 10" rim, that’d be sick!
=
Wow I didn’t realize that the E46 went to a taller tire too.
In that case I guess the 225/50 wouldn’t be too bad.
$85 each
that’s what I was trying to do with the 18x9.5 forgelines, but the +19 was just way not enough offset… :meh:
and they where cheap too… sigh
god, a 215 looks retardedly narrow on the rear, shit even the 225 would.
do 275’s with stock camber fit under the rears, when its lowered?
I have 275’s on mine (stock suspension) and it seems close… I know with the 245’s up front I could easily fit 265’s under it
yes… well it depends on the wheels, but 275/30 does fit, you MIGHT rub on large bumps with people in the rear, but you will be find for DD use, 275/35 does rub some (This is talking about 19" wheels) I have a ton of room under my rear fenders (But I really think that the guy that had the car before me rolled them)
fuck this is spawning quite the debate
i emailed that guy last night, didn’t ask him offset…the tires seem to be in decent condition…i’m going to go over there and look at them tomorrow, offer his ass like 350…
i am not trying to ball out and get 18s…the cheapest safe setup is fine…i’m gonna be using these for 2 months…
