why dont you and your dad take 3 bottles an see what happens lay one on its side stand one on its top and then one on its base, leave sit for 3 months and then subject a random family member and have them taste test each one. IF they can tell the difference then you may have some kind of valid result. Or simply email mythbusters an see if you can make them do it for you
