yes ive done it to several 240s sohc alt to dohc engine, dohc alt to sohc engine and yea. it works.

i have one for sale too rebuilt with 7000km’s on it located in dt toronto. $60

sohc and dohc are the same, i used my new sohc on my doch swap :smiley:
