SOHC swap, 2000 Integra

depends on a lot of things my friend

What are these “things”?

posting from the garage

So I was listening to “Compton Isn’t Too Far Away” by Afroman…

Looking at this pic of “Amazin’ Amie…”

And I got inspired to work on my engine harness and finish it up.

that girl must have butt inplants or that disease that makes you turn from black to white

Got the Integra style connectors wired in, added a coolant temp. sender so the gauge works on the cluster, and added/extended a couple more things. The engine harness is pretty much good to go.

Here’s the Integra connectors to make it plug and play.

And while I had my soldering tools out I figured I’d take the immobilizer board out of the ECU.

Here’s the ECU with the covers off. The immobilizer board is on the top left next to that black square chip.

Weapons of choice… soldering iron and solder sucker braid

And the board is out like Clay Aiken

Not very exciting, but hey it’s something.

Nice work. Making that harness pulg n play is gonna make it so nice.

another lil update

Got the correct radiator hoses in, fuel lines finish, harness installed, and some other stuff.

I’m still debating whether I should build a mil spec harness for this. Right now I’m just using the ugly stock one.

does it start

If it does, drive it to the lot with no hood and open headers.

Oh, and is it really that simple to remove the immobilizer?

few more things to get

I will be driving it like that for a bit. And yes, but a CEL will be on until I solder in a replacement board.

nice work man hope to see this car running soon!

I had that issue w/my OBD2b P75 ECU… Some dude on H-T does it for like $80, but he wont say where he gets his replacement chips.

theres a local guy who makes them and a guy in Austria. They are about $40

fuck bitches get money

fired up nice once everything was plugged in. thanks to member jiggsy for his help

Good to know she’s up and running…now I need to see it!!!

Awsome dood!

and for finishing the fuel lines tell your dad not to smoke in the garage
