I am on my second and would classify them as mechanical nightmares. As long as you know Xander and I you will be all good. We can, and have fixed these in our sleep.

I am on my second and wouldn’t classify them as mechanical nightmares. There are common issues that occur which if you know how to research and use tools, can be handled without issue.

I always seemed to have a “major” none matenance issue once a year. Ignition system, ABS control module, control arms, bearings. All are well documented and stuff you should be aware of.

Granted I loved that car (98.5 A4 1.8T QTS) and still miss it especailly in the winter.
