on teh ad in the auto trader you mention that is has been recently rebuilt. I was just wondering about what the mileage was at when it was rebuilt and if there is any surface rust on it at all.
Transmission was rebuilt @ about 305,000kms, engine is original
and yes, there is surface rust, but no holes or anything.
car was undercoated recently including underbody & underhood areas
I did it myself so the underhood portion is especially clean. I put a layer of soundguard over the rust guard so it wouldnt wash off.
I lost the e-test that was originally supposed to be going with the car, so I had the car retested as of Dec 16, 2004 and the car passed with flying colours.
so the cert & e-test still stands.
