some photos of our set up at the toronto Grand Prix

Yeah so I showed up at the Grand Prix of Toronto to show off some of the stuff i’m working on.

I actually ran into a couple NECC guys too, one dude that was working with Invision / Seibon. Sexysil i think? it was a busy weekend i cant remember exactly.

this is what our booth looked like:

that is a non-hicas subframe sandblasted, painted and cleared with full aluminum bushings and various versions of the bings multi-link. i just ziptied an exhuast through it for fun.

my boy Newman getting hifey with the Japanese Import models at his Lotus Elise… Newman is the coolest man alive by the way.

working on more pics

Your buddy owns that Lotus? Fuck, PIMP. I so want one.

And Courtney is the shit. lol.

dude, i could on for hours about how cool this newman cat is…

he is an engineer, designing sifters and other large machinery for an Oil company out of western NY. needless to say he makes $$$.

the company is a well-known non-equal opportunity company with a dress code, yet he wears his bullet-belt (live ammo btw) and patched jeans to work along with his various facial peircings and rolls in in his Lotus when everyone else drive a corolla.

reason is because he churned out 6 machines in the last half year when none of the other 11 designers in his dept. turned out a single one.

He bought the Lotus on his credit card and put a GT28R on it but couldnt get the E-manage to work so he ripped it all off for our rip to PA. imagine a lotus with screws blocking vaccuum lines?

his daily driver / winter beater is a WRX STI… i smoked both of his cars in my S13 to and from Pennsylvania a few weeks back…lol… i have video to prove.

he also just bought a 80’s camaro, just because he hates them sooo much… he’s going to put NHRA and nascar stickers on it and beat it until it falls apart…

he went to a denturist and had them take a mould of his teeth and had a 14k grille made just for fun, he actually wears it. i have video of that too

this weekend he went to footlocker and bought one of those HUGE white t-shirts that go down to his knees… and wore it at the GPT

pic to prove

needless to say he and i get along great…lol… i’m pretty quirky myself but not nearly as much as this dude.

i remember hearing stories about the dude and couldnt wait to meet him… he’s everything i expected…hahaha

dude also owned a 12 second daily driven EG hatch and converted a S13 to RHD and put a fully built RB26 in it last year… then sold it on ebay

Bing my brothah… will you please send Courtney and your little sis to my place here in Calgary? letsss say for about a month or so? :E

werd

very nice too meet you. I was the Tall guy from the invison auto import booth.

I would love to Buy that Whole rear sud frame as it was. well done looks super nice.

i will get some pics up tomarrow
dallas

so dallas, your car was at dtp edmonton but you were in TO?

Dallas,

i’m thinking of actually reconditioning rear subframes like that and selling them outfitted with the multi-link, subframe bushings and the fancy paint, but shipping would be redonkulous.

i’ll be doing up another one for shows though, this one was out of a friends car that he is building

good idea seriously as lots of 240sx have rear subframe rusting problems and could be replaced, also to install alot of those parts you need to disconnect half of the rear end suspension anyways

nice subframe! i wonder how much greyhound would charge… 8)

your friend sounds pretty interesting to hang out with. i love those wankster poses! alot more personality than some people i know for sure.

courtney… :stuck_out_tongue:

i got all 3 vids of her on Street Racing Syndicate!
