I remember walking all the way to the end and getting to the marina and being soooo thirsty. I was super pissed off that i was like 100 feet from the marina. I could SEE a pop machine but there was a moat of stanky lake water separating me from it.
I think if i do it again, i’m going to bring an inflatable raft.

awesome pictures. i was just there for the first time last weekend. lots of bird poo and ghetto fisherman and swimmers, but overall a very cool place.

we started to get to the end but at that point there were bugs everywhere, so we almost ran back
Walked out there last week, there is a great little spot at the end, almost a rock beach with some shallow rapids in front of it. Great place to hang out and watch the sunset.
Bugs come out at 8:30 on the dot for the most part. Bring bugspray if you are going to be out there past then.
We were also lucky to pass by a guy taking photos of a Mink poking its head out from the rocks… I never knew minks lived around here!
