Southwest Airlines Round Trip Reward

I have two flights free on Southwest in my rapid rewards account. I can transfer them to someone if they want.

Not sure on the price its worth so open to offers. Not planning on going anywhere anytime soon so might as well get rid of them.

What’s the fine print? Blackout dates?
I’m interested.

interested. will it get me to california and back?

I’d also be interested, is this within the continental US only? Post details

So far its within the continental US. There is some blackout dates as its not the “premier” reward but I was gonna book a flight from Buffalo to Vegas and obviously couldn’t use it on new years.
The only thing I found is that last time I did this for someone, I had to book their flight for them using the reward through my account. Once it was booked, they got the cofnirmation number just like a normal flight.

Here is the exerpt from Southwest.com

How to give your Rapid Rewards Ticketless Award to friends or family

Awards are completely transferrable, which is a program benefit that allows you to give your travel benefits to friends or family members. Simply find out the destination, travel dates, and times from your lucky recipient. Then follow the instructions to book the travel at southwest.com or call Reservations. Here are a few more things you should know:

* You - not the person using your Award - will need to book the flight by visiting MySouthwest® at southwest.com or calling Reservations and specifying that you are making a reservation with a Standard or Freedom Award, whichever applies.
* At the time of reservation, the government-imposed September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per roundtrip must be paid by credit card.
* After you book the flight, give the confirmation number and itinerary you receive to the person who will be using your Award.
* The person using your Award may change the destination, date, or time of travel at no charge prior to flight. If the name on the reservation changes, the itinerary will have to be cancelled, and the Award will automatically be returned to your account. You will then have to rebook the trip.
* For account security reasons, we recommend that you never give out your password or other information about your Rapid Rewards account.

pm me the range you’d want.

If someone has a trip they are booking and know the price, I will play the middle man like PriceLine and if you can use the reward, let me know what its worth to you. Preferably, someone flying to california from Buffalo would be more profitable for me than someone going from Buffalo to Chicago for example.

2 one way flights so i would need both to book 1 round trip? PM me wha tyourelooking to get im interested…looking to get to vegas in mid feb

OK bascially I have two one-way flight rewards in my Southwest account.

I am not flying anywhere in the near future so if someone is going on a decent trip across the country and wants to save a few bucks, I can book it for you using my rewards and you can pay me.

Its round trip and booked as round trip. Just needs to be done through my account so its a free flight since when you book, you select a flight each way. Its more for someone who is going somewhere already and needs to use it versus someone who just may go somewhere since I just can’t give you the rewards. I would need to meet you and book it for you in person.

I fucking hate flying southwest, but I’d do it if the price was right.

You usually have to pay the taxes and fees, which can be almost 50 dollars as well.

To be honest, I don’t like the checking in early but I do like flying them and only had one bad experience in years.

When I was gonna book my Vegas trip from Buffalo to LV, it only charged me $10 for it ($5 each way for the post 9/11 fee)

If anyone has a trip you definitely need to book, send me the dates and ill check to make sure its not blacked out. If not, I will look up the price of the flight and make an offer for the voucher and that would be the easiest way I think.

Interesting… I go to Cali a lot and would be interested in them. Let me see how much a flight in February is…

my mom/sisters mother in law will need to be flying back form arkansas in a week or so, i am VERY interested if you still have these, send me a pm. (they only need 1 way tickets, driving down there tmrw and flying back after a week or 2

Bump.

Expires on 11/1/11. Nothing planned yet and to reissue it to someone is $100. I can book a flight with it using someone elses name tho if you want.

Let me know your flight dates and stuff and I will search it. If its available, make an offer on them. If not, I will just go to Tampa and play golf in October so they don’t go to waste.

I need to fly to SD in Dec/Jan. How much are you looking to get?

I would be interested in flying to NYC…

But when you book it, arrange for a stopover in California. and I will pay full BFL to NYC price.

Need dates to get the list of available flights that qualify.
