Sparco Universal Weighted Shift knob

Just bought this about an hour ago, opened the package, put it on the STI and I just didn’t like the look / fit of it. Due to the pull up release for reverse, it caused the knob to actually have to sit up and left a gap that I didn’t really care for.
Make me an offer if you want it.

i thought u could rid the scooby of the pull up thingy for reverse

I’d rather not. I’d rather just find a knob that has the correct fit.

Get a threaded knob. I got a generic Teflon one, with Honda thread pitch, and it is my favorite one I have ever had at $15. Doesnt get hot at all, and has a grippy feel to it.

I’ve never seen it done and definitely wouldn’t try it. I couldn’t think of anything worse than trying to slam 6th and slamming reverse instead. :rofl:rofl

Yeah, definitely do not want to disable the reverse lockout. Very bad idea.

I have an SPT titanium STi shift knob here. But you can’t have it :giggle

Search ebay for an SPT knob they are really nice. So are the greddy counter-weights and lightweight and such. They are all thread on knobs as well
