i can’t even…
It looks like you are eating your burrito on the wrong side of the road with traffic coming?
l33 is the aluminum 5.3L
Yeah fuckin’ right. I’m surprised this isn’t posted for sale yet. :mpd:
Cough cough. @sikksohc
correct.
everything is for sale
Great truck. Now go run over your “track bike” with it and put it to good use.
Airbags?
nope. static.
4.5" upfront and 5" rear.
plan is to ditch the 18’s and go with some 17" torque thrusts with tall tires out back and then maybe re-address the ride height.
right now im just kind of going over the truck doing all the nit-picky shit I want.
it had slightly sloppy steering so I changed out the steering intermediate shaft for a nice u-joint version.
I also ditched the cholo 13" billet steering wheel it came with and bought another 15" comfort grip.
in the process of changing the leaky diff seal and just for good measure changing out the axle seals.
oh and the doofus before me “changed the rear brakes” but never adjusted the shoes properly so the wheel cylinders started to seep and ruined the shoes on one side so im going to replace both wheel cylinders and shoes.
other than that im going to change out the passenger window regulator because it had a rough spot rolling up, I also want to upgrade the cluster with a tach, grab some sway bars and fix the windshield wiper motor.
If youre upgrading the cluster, not sure how modern you want it to look but check out the dakota digital setups
You know where I stand on this.
I fucking HATE the digital clusters personally.
the truck uses a Dakota digital converter for the stock speedo currently. I
m going to get the 8k rpm stock looking tach kit but im reading that ill also have to shell out another $80 for the Dakota converter to run that gauge too
Sadly there are no really good option for gauges with an LS swap on c10’s. which is why my C10 has no speedo, or tach, at the moment
no way man the stock gauges are perfect IMO
hell yea. getting stock gauges to work with a swap is key.
Summit had a sale on these CPP sway bar kits with free shipping…$250 for both AND poly bushings…why not?
Love it. Where’d you find it?
In the 405.
very cool. the wheels suck but color is great. where are the burnouts?
