Spray foam insulation

Anyone know anyone who does this, or does it themselves? I don’t even know if you can rent the equipment for this type of work. I need to insulate the shit out of the new building before any CNC equipment goes in, and I’d like to do this instead of fiberglass due to its ability to completely seal any potential draft areas.

Hit me up if you do.

i think there was a machine for that on craiglist this past week??

Be aware at some point adam it may need a second go in the near future after the initial spray. It does have a tendency to settle a little bit from what I remember

I know someone must rent the equipment to do it, the lumber yard I used to work at had a cellulose blower they would loan out, maybe try calling Curtis Lumber or another mom & pop hardware/lumber yard to see if they have a spray foam machine to rent or maybe they know of someone that will loan one.

Maybe Shaker Rental, Admar, Casale or Sunbelt have one of these things to rent

its called the yellow pages

No shit sherlock, I’ve googled a dozen companies online already. I was asking here first as I like to give money to people/businesses I know or of friends/recommended locals before going elsewhere.

Bonehead post JVG, bonehead post.

Dont quedtion jvg. He owned a store once.

I have heard good things about northeast spray foam.

I heard they have low low jvg rape prices too.

HAHAHAHA nothing new nick

I was just busting balls but someone threw a tantrum and negged me :rofl :rofl.

Spray foam doesnt shrink or settle shady/// your thinking of cellulose.

I think the issue with renting the machines is buying the foam product usually takes a commercial account thats, not just a business card type either…

Is that the newspaper like shit?

my brother does this and owns the machine

I did find a company online that sells DIY closed cell foam kits for this application. Pressurized nitrogen tanks of the material with guns, etc. ~$600 for 600sqft, and it’s all self contained.

This isn’t cheap stuff, averaging about $1.5-$2 per sq foot for an RV of 7(about a 1-1.5" thick layer), but far outweighs the costs with the benefits.

Can I get his phone number sir? PM me his info

No that’s the blown matt insulation.

ya its stupid expensive for what it is, i remember him sayin that.

i pmed ya back

I was there most of the time and never recognized you coming in, so I don’t know why you’d comment on JVG’s pricing. If you’re going by what Pete is saying, well, Pete is cheap as fuck. Except if it has anything to do w/ Buscher.

And if you really thought his prices were high, you most certainly have never been around during the APG days.
