Spring project help

so i have a few things that i want to get done on my car, and being new to the area i figure that yinz know where to go

  1. Paintless Dent Repair, some asshat decided that it would be nice to fling the door open into my car, luckily i was walking to my car, and it didnt take off any paint just a nice dent… and that persons insurance is paying
  2. i have a very small spoiler that i need to have painted
  3. Tint. enough said
  4. exhaust straightend. The place that welded my GMPP catback on didnt check to see that the tips were straight, and they refused to re do it :greddy:

that is all, so if anyone knows the best places to get this shit done i would appreicate it

1sttry

First Bass for tint… He’ll usually hook up Pittspeeders, and occasionally has one day tint specials for the board

ok so 1ST try for the exhaust

First Bass for the Tint

Paintless Dent Repair?
Spoiler Painted?

Roberts Auto Body.

i think you need to open that motor up for springtime

oh you mean the 1.9 HS rockers, LS6 springs, OR pushrods, Meziere Electric WP and the Ported Gen V and LIM that i have wating…hehe

That sounds like an awesome setup. That is going to be one serious sleeper Bonneville.

you shouldn’t port a gen V. there’s really no room for improvement unless it’s all just polished

i’d skip the OR pushrods too. i never understood why you’d wanna restrict oil to the upper valvetrain

edit- shit i forgot you’re diehard intense, you really should rethink the stuff you buy from them

He’s right, you definitely don’t need that ported Gen V. Better give it to me so it doesn’t blow up your engine. While your at it, I’ll take all the other stuff too

LOL i know what im doing, basically i just smoothed out the castings. I didnt open anything up, smoothed the inlet, because ill be using a N* TB and smoothed the outlet. I guess porting was the wrong word.

im thinking reason to restirct the top of the valve train is because of the roller tip on the rocker. You dont need as much oil flow as the stock non roller for lubrication

and i wouldnt call my self Die hard Intense. i have ZZP stuff on my car. BUT if ZZP and Intense have the same thing I Buy the Intense over the ZZP because every time i try and email ZZP i never get an answer i wait weeks for a response. If i have to call the phone just rings and rings. With Intense i send a email and get a response in a few hours. Plus I have Todds cell if i really need something. I guess its all in how you get treated.

Intense has a bad rep with the W body Community, ZZP has a bad rep with the Bonneville community. Honestly i dont care who i buy from im just glad that we have parts

ehhh all the vendors are overrated really, they all suck

good luck with your setup

ya considering the price we have to pay for parts

if i’m going to stick with this car i’m gonna have to do a trans soon. you ever priced out tranny parts yet? :madfawk:

yup, its not pretty. Just doing basics like a hardened 4th, input shaft, going to the 7/8th chain, and a TC and your over a grand. That dosent include clutches or other hard parts…its teh suck. Im trying to be nice to mine:kekegay:
