We pulled it out last saturday and found that the turbo manifold wasnt bolted on tight so it wrecked the gasket so while we were waiting I decided to paint it. :E The car should be running saturday evening and tuned monday.
Sweet hope it all goes good. What kind of paint did you use to paint it?
Sorry but the paint just looks gross, IMO. Not flaming, just giving my opinion.
I like it! (says the guy with the yellow valve cover)
Looks good, not my colors, but not my car, lol…
Looks good, but i would of used a different color blue.
It must be the picture but it does kinda look like the timing cover and the valve cover are dif colors of blue. I dunno maybe just me, I actually don’t mind it.
Lookin good.
But you can never go wrong with a red valve cover under the hood
I know the blue isnt me either but there was a crappy selection it was that or a darker chevy blue. I called everywhere to try and get a custom color but no one mixes high temp paint. So I had to make due with what I had. Overall its WAY better than a stock oily motor. 8) And ya the pic distortes the color in general. I just want my car BACK…
I actually like the colors Hope this motor works for ya!
:vom:
you dont need high temp paint. I use u-tec polly base on mine and its been good for over 2 years now.
loose the color of the valve cover, get some respect! :anal
LOL. This motor is only in my car for a couple months. I am doing a full build over winter and I will be painting it better colors. My charge pipe is white too. LOL
just out of curiosity u play street fighter?
WHAT??? Ummmmm No not since I was VERY young with my brother. Why would you ask that?
