I don’t ever order or put them on ice cream, but if I were to consider them an edible item, I would have to call them sprinkles. Jimmies is disgusting.
I’ll say pop, but I usually just say the one I’m actually ordering, Mt. Dew, Coke, etc.
I’ll call a pizza a pie, I don’t see what the big deal is there.
To me, a pie is an apple pie, peach pie, cherry pie, etc.
That’s just me though.

My brother-in-law actually asked the waitress what the package said, and she brought the label back that said sprinkles. I think we had a 7-4 split in favor of sprinkles. A Google search at the table also brought up the name hundreds-and-thousands, but that was too far out to include it in the poll.

and when your gram raises you, you call it jumbo. also say perogies and kiebasa with a polish accent.
