is the ka clutch master the same as sr ? thanks guys
No, the lines come off the other side, b/c they’re RHD. At least that’s how it was with my CA’s. If you were careful you could probably make it fit.
0pps ment to say slave cylinder are they the same thanks
the slave should be the same…
99% sure it is.
anyone ever considered using a brake master cylinder for clutch? you could cap off the “rear” line or use a Y-block…
you would get more fluid/force per distance of pedal travel… but you could give yourself a ton of dead-space at the top, perhaps a travel limit/stop would be needed so you don’t blow out the slave but still…
might turn it into an on/off switch that’s too hard to feather or it might shorten the clutch pedal travel to 1/3 of normal and be perfectly fine… don’t suppose any of you have tried it?
Yes, the slaves are the same/interchangeable. The best way to do it when you swap a motor is to take the whole slave off and put it on the new motor… then you dont have to deal with re-bleeding the clutch.
thanks boyz
actually the master is the same too, they don’t make one that faces the proper way for LHD… in a usdm car they just have a gay line that wraps around and goes to the other side, they also make one that goes stright down… i’ve nexer seen a OE Nissan one where the outlet for the line faces the proper usdm way
