The 2.5 it to honkin weak for the 5 series IMO. Now the 4.5 is a different story 
I’ve driven both as well as 330ci and M3’s and the 525 has no place anywhere, it flat out stinks
525i = junk
even a SC M3/M5 wouldnt stand up to an SC LS1
