that was his first pick in about 125-130 passes i believe
it looked to me like when he was transferring the ball, he was palming it…which usually is a precursor to showboating…but its cool. it wasnt worse than the spike in jacksonville a few years back.
I think plax is a moron but when you are dominating a game like that you can afford to do things you normally would not do. I think plax picked up his game a lot in the past few weeks and is becoming one of the league’s top recievers.

first off he threw a pick in the game that tommy maddox got hurt in. i give him all the credit in the world for doing what hes doing. im not bad mouthing him but alot of people arent realizing hes a ROOKIE. hes going to make rookie mistakes under pressure. NFL PLAYOFFs are pressure and there are reason that a rookie QB has never won a superbowl but with the way things are going for pittsburgh this year there is a first time for everything.

Ben to me is showing a great deal of Leadership for being a rookie QB. but he knows that he is still learning the Pro Football game. my prediction is he takes us all the way, he is tough and smart just needs the experience which he is learning each week.

we have shown the ability to play great defense without him plus i dont think there is going to be room for him under the cap. i would like him to stay because he is a great athlete but hes going to demand more money because he knows he can get it elsewhere.

Are you the same tard that said Jerome was done for and Duce could handle the load all season… There is definetly a benefit to having to big backs, and yes Jerome could do it for a few games in a row, all season I doubt anyone can run with that kind of attacking style all season…
The players are too big, fast, strong, and the season is a lot longer to be a full time bruiser back. People can’t take that kind of punishment in and out for 22+ weeks, not including playoffs.
i didnt say jerome was done and i understand all the reasons to have more than one back that can play well.
the steelers arent always a run attack team tho. they played that way against the eagles because they had success. i think your average back can handle 25ish carries a game for a season.
