in specific reference to the GTO v STI comment, the GTO is a PIG. 4k+ lbs et al. However, as with LSx cars with T56s… the high gears is where its at. Most of the 6 spd 4th gen guys can regularly get into the mid-high 20s.
IOW: I don’t think its primarily about compression there.
Yea, if you bought an STi purely for fuel efficiency, you’re a moron. However, for those who bought an STi when gas was $2/gal, I’m sure they maybe reconsidering their priorities.
